Actually I love the Mozilla Firefox browser, but since I wasn’t using many of the addons available, wasn’t really aware of the various options and in some cases addons bad for Internet marketing.

In the last month or so, been getting my education of how best to utilize this browser for more pleasant surfing and other useful little add-ons I was not aware of. My instructor, none other than the add-on lady herself, Sunny Suggs. Though we’ve never met, still consider her a friend and someone who will become widely known very quickly.

You see what Sunny has done is put her heart and soul into creating a most useful product for people like me that never took the time to see these options. She also made me aware of why some of the “nasty” add-ons being used by some traffic exchange members can really curb your sales and marketing efforts.

What I’ve learned does explain some weird things I never understood when people would tell me my payment button wasn’t working or they couldn’t subscribe to my list. Now I understand more, and can maybe offer solutions when these questions arise.

You need to help me spread the word about this for the benefit of all Internet marketers. Remember this name, Sunny Suggs, the product she has created is of value to anyone online using Firefox, which seems to be more wide spread every day. Hey, its a great browser in my book, even more so now, with all these cool little add-ons.

Thought it was about time to bring everyone up to speed on all the latest additions at Soaring4Traffic. Just to summarize what’s been happening as of late.

First thing we did was change the letter hunt game for better understanding and increased the value when the word phrase is completed. Now when you complete “Soaring with Eagles”, 100 bonus credits are added to your account.

Next we added a prize page script to better deliver the various prizes to include credits, banner, text link impressions and even cash. We have further plans for this script in the very near future. Stay tuned for that.

Realizing how boring surfing can get at times since we do take our business very serious, we thought maybe some comic relief might be in order. We’ve added some comic pages in rotation, unique to Eagles, hope they bring a smile to your face or perhaps an outright chuckle. Let me know what you think about those.

Right now there is a total of 10 comics. They are controlled by sessions, so if you want to see all ten, probably have to surf approx 250 pages in a session. If you stop surfing and start again, you will see them from the beginning. Sorry, controlled by the script setup that displays them. If you like those, maybe we will have more created next month.

Now I have to tell you about this new program being launched today, 9 A.M. PST, so you’re getting it first.

Yes its a traffic exchange, but a very unique one. Built from the LJ script much like Soaring4Traffic was originally, but highly modified. Ryan Hogan and Ed Tyner have gone all out to create something totally different and unique. Believe it or not, some are important. For instance, commissions received, downline notifications, special bonus days, and last but not least replies to your support questions.

Ok back to the soap box again talking about list building to increase your online results. Believe me, I wasn’t always this passionate about list building. At first didn’t understand the power nor was I very good at it. At some point not even sure when or what triggered it, became determined to learn.

Guess mainly hanging out with other TE owners and members through forums, conferences who were in fact getting good results from advertising in traffic exchanges above the norm, just wanted to see what and how they were making it work for them. If you’ve followed my emails or previous blog posts, we continually stress the need to “Brand” yourself and “build your list” using traffic exchanges. Much of this falls on deaf ears as it did me for a long time.

First there was the fear of writing an email series that would have any real value. Setting up an autoresponder was really the easy part, writing was the real issue. Then I realized that all you need to do is be yourself, write about whatever subject is your main focus. Since becoming a traffic exchange owner, this is my focus.

Focused on growing the exchange, but more importantly focused on members getting better results when using them to advertise. My gain is simple, if your results increase, you will be more active, plus hopefully tell others of your results and therefore recommend my traffic exchanges as a place to advertise. No hidden agenda here.

Hence the reason for my latest email series written for those that want to start building a list, simplified step by step with all the necessary tools, ideas, suggested email series you can copy right to your autoresponder. Also includes suggested programs, affiliate products to promote in building your business.

All are free programs, but keep in mind each will present you with an offer for more benefits. No need to be offended by these offers, its totally your choice to make. If you don’t see an advantage for you, then by all means pass them up. That simple. They are included as part of the training series so you see how and why things are done to increase one’s income.

Don’t misunderstand, traffic exchanges are not the only place to build your list but for sure one of the best uses of your advertising credits.

Writing articles, safelists, and viral list builders come to mind as other means to increase your list building. Just as in learning how to best use traffic exchanges, each method has its own learning curve to be truly effective. In fact before you start using safe lists, save yourself lots of time and wasted effort. Get Soren Jordansen’s Ultimate Safelist Survival Guide, will be the best $10 you ever spend.

Speaking of viral list builders, one I’ve seen advertised all over the net lately and just recently realized it was created by a couple of fellow traffic exchange owners. So for the ever increasing desire to improve my list building and promote Soaring4Traffic, I signed up after chatting with one of the owners. These things do work, some of the top online marketers use them daily.

You’ve probably seen the advertisements also, its called Downline Builder Direct. Free program, yes, but again has advantages for upgrading which you will see when joining.

All right then, off the soap box for now. Hopefully, through some of these posts and emails you will begin to not only get ideas but start acting upon them to assist with your online endeavors.

In the previous post we tried to express the benefits gained from networking in forums. This was a test more than anything to see if we could increase activity for a single thread in the Members Forum.

It worked very well, thanks to those that participated and got involved. At last count the thread had reached its 6th page.

Activity in other threads was also noticed. First let me stress how important it is to use forums. The networking is probably the most important. Meeting new like minded people, getting answers to questions, and offering your own opinion for various subjects. This really does work. Whether you like the answers received really doesn’t matter, people have different personalities and therefore come across differently.

The other important aspect is how fast these active threads get indexed by search engines. A good signature file is important. Your full name, your site links properly placed etc. Example of this can be found on the 6th page of this thread where Doug Pare has given some links to verify how search engines have reacted to this thread. While that thread is still active, why not join, make your post relative to the thread content? If you’ve already made a post, be sure to setup your sig file. There is a thread with instructions of how to do that also.

For more exposure, links to your sites, your name exposed etc, these are my favorite forums to visit, in no particular order. I have each one bookmarked on my browser and try to visit each day, check out new threads, find ones of interest, and leave a comment if the mood strikes me.

And now as a follow up to the previous post on list building. Since in my opinion it is one of the best ways to build your business and make use of your traffic exchange advertising. The email series List Building Simplified is my answer to begin building your list without much cost if any.

No need for a website, domain name, hosting, or even expertise in html, php etc. Of course later you will want these things but to begin they really are not a must have. In this email series, we try to provide tools, products, follow up emails to copy and paste, all at no cost.

One thing you must understand up front, each free product will likely come with a special OTO for upgraded status with more benefits. Free products almost always do. Webmasters must pay their programmers, designers, hosting and domain costs. Whether you upgrade or not is strictly your choice, just don’t be upset when these offers are made. Easy to turn them down and go the free route for now.

One program not currently added in the email series, mainly because it was just launched yesterday is Daily Niche Idea. Not only a good source for more products but also new niche ideas come on a daily basis. Likely will be added as soon as possible.

Two subjects one post, actually they are both related.

The idea for both are to increase your success with advertising when using traffic exchanges. Better results means more active members, which in turn benefits all.

First is List Building. It has been hammered repeatedly how best to advertise in traffic exchanges. Almost every active owner or successful user of traffic exchanges try to instill in all members the most effective advertising techniques.

While it may be easy to use program standard affiliate pages and or long sales letters, these have proven to discourage more users of traffic exchanges to just give up. When spending hours surfing or valuable dollars purchasing credits without results it is only natural to be discouraged and decide that traffic exchanges don’t work. They do by the way!

You see, I’m no different. That is exactly how I started my traffic exchange advertising and believe me it was disappointing to say the least. How were others being so successful and yet no results for me?

This is where forums came into play and actually put me on the path I needed to be. I finally got it through my thick skull that it wasn’t traffic exchanges at all, it was my way of advertising. Guess what, most of this info came from forums.

Ok, first thing I learned was the need for personal splash pages to brand one’s self but more importantly “lead capture” pages to build a list of subscribers. Much simpler to build a list, build relationships, then make your recommendations. In other words lets not call it a “list”, has bad vibes, more appropriately your customer base.

List building is what I finally embraced and in my efforts to simplify things, (my style) wrote a series of emails that might interest you if you are willing to give it a go. Have gotten many emails lately from members wanting to know how to build splash pages, where to learn html, how to build lead capture pages, etc.

To me that’s techie stuff not necessarily needed in the beginning. Especially when there are programs that do it for you, including products to sell and even follow up copy and paste emails you can use. It just doesn’t get any simpler than that.

Okay now back to networking in forums. The question has come up many times why more people do not participate in forums? They are a great place to learn, get to know like minded people, build relationships, and even JV partnerships. Soaring4Traffic would not be where it is today without a couple of forums like TMF and NMF, and that’s a fact, plain and simple.

Now I want to hear your opinion! I really want to know the reason you do not participate in forums. First a thread has been started in The Members Forum about inactivity. Would really like you to go to this thread and give your honest opinion. For doing so, I’ll sweeten the pot by adding 100 credits to your Soaring4Traffic account, but only if real reasons are posted.
