Bonus Credit Surfing
Many new members lately and first a huge welcome to each of you. Thanks for joining the Eagles, hope you enjoy your membership and get the results you desire.
The last few days have been spent updating, working out details on some issues, and even moving my office for more comfort and accessibility. Well the office move put me way behind on a few things only because of the need to rewire all the equipment. Of course Murphy’s law showed its ugly head with some testing of my patience when things didn’t go perfectly. No worries, all cool now.
Of course with that down time, I didn’t get the chance to let you know about S.W.A.T. traffic in time. Chances are you did get notification that the upgrade prices were being raised from several different sources. If not, then I do apologize. Even with the higher upgrade pricing, it is still one of the best deals for traffic exchanges.
With the Captain upgrade not only do you get monthly bonuses, better surf ratios, etc but also the advantage of weekly online conferences every Thursday night. Good place to meet other traffic exchange owners and surfers alike. Great place to ask questions and get real answers immediately. It is and has been in your Soaring4Traffic traffic exchange downline builder, so you might want to check it out even though you may have missed the earlier upgrade prices.
Have also been busy with the Affiliate Funnel promotion which has been going very well for all. Great chance to get some free trial period upgrades to test some of the traffic exchanges you would like to join. Think there is around 20 offering the free one month trial upgrades. Also a place to vote for your preferred exchanges by ranking each. See previous post for all the details.
Now to the main purpose of this post.
After talking online with several Soaring4Traffic members, we are going to step up and do something a bit different. Seems the general consensus was that most preferred bonus credits in larger portions rather than small amounts more often. So we are now testing that theory.
Already in place now, when you surf between 45-50 sites, you will see a bonus credit link for 15 credits. Rather than having to stop, click the bonus link every 10-20 sites for 3 to 7 credits, you will now only see the bonus link every 45-50 sites and be guaranteed the 15 credits if you click the link. In essence less time clicking for bonuses, but receiving more for your efforts. More sites viewed in your alloted surf session without being delayed by the bonus link. Watch for it, don’t miss it.
We will test this for a few days, before deciding if it should remain in place. But, let’s not forget why we surf traffic exchanges. We surf to build credits so other members will see our sites, we surf to view other members sites, we surf to find programs, tools, resources we want to add to our business or we subscribe to newsletters and training courses that will improve our knowledge and skills.
Most of you know how I feel about surfing contests and traffic exchanges that put all their emphasis on just surfing. My opinion is and has always been that the hyped up surfing frenzy is not the best course of action. Personally, I’m still not completely sold on the effectiveness of team surfing either. Sure, exchanges like Traffic Era are exciting with the team competition and the ability to chat with your team members, but still I have to ask how effective is the traffic?
To date, I’ve been a tad disappointed with the results from such a large membership already, but hopefully that will change when the newness of surfing for clocks has settled some. We have experienced some results and it does seem to be improving. Only time will determine the true effectiveness, which is what we should be looking for, results.
With all that said, surfing activity is the one thing that every traffic exchange needs to remain a viable advertising source. I do believe in rewarding and giving as many bonus credits as possible to those members viewing pages. But my hope is that you are actually looking at the pages, getting ideas, learning from others while getting results from your efforts.
With the current test run on bonus credits, don’t forget that there is also the letter hunt game which rewards even more credits automatically, plus the surf verification questions which add a few more. Adding even more, starting today we will draw 3 winners each week that have surfed a minimum of 600 sites for the week and award each with an additional 200 credits. Not a contest, simply a drawing from those that meet the minimum requirement. 600 sites in a week is nothing for a surfer that truly wants good exposure.
Drawing will be held each Sunday night around midnight, EST.
On another note, lately I’ve been asked many times how and where do new Soaring4Traffic members come from. That will be covered in my next post, likely done tomorrow. There will be new programs added to Soaring4Traffic’s downline builder to coincide with that post. You will understand better when you see it.
Would be a good idea to subscribe to this blog to get the quickest updates. Several planned in the very near future that you will not want to miss.
In closing, I would really like your opinions on the new surfing bonuses. Taking time out of your busy schedule to give your honest opinion will reap more bonus credits, 50 to be exact. Now I want your honest opinion and what you personally prefer. Also need you to leave your Soaring4Traffic ID # or username in your comment, otherwise makes it hard for me to identify you.
That’s all for today, sorry for the long winded version.
Keep Soaring with Eagles!

Personally, I like the larger bonus after more views then the smaller ones. It works out well for me =)
WTG for giving it a shot.

Ray,
I like the idea of getting more credits less often. I don’t really like stopping every few pages; I prefer instead to spend extra time reading some of the pages advertised in the exchanges.

Hi Ray thanks again for the update! It will be interesting to see how the new surfing bonuses go. I myself actually prefer what you have been doing lately with the 7 credits every few pages rather than having to wait to the 45 or 50 sites its along time to wait for more credits. About every 20 to 25 sites suits me perfect. The latter deters me from surfing having to wait so many sites for extra credits. Just my thoughts. I too am still unsure of how Traffic Era is working out for me, I am undecided but am still clocking away. Anyway hope your move is a good one.

Hi Ray
Sounds like a great idea to me! Less stopping to click for bonus credits will be a good thing…and even more of them…yay!

Ray, I like your transformation! I prefer the larger bonus plus the mega bonus after finding the letters… that’s cool
If one’s on dialup, maybe it could pose a challenge for them to surf those extra pages, otherwise it’s a breeze. Thanks for all your hard work in making s4t such a geat TE.

Hi Ray,
I agree with Stacy, it would seem like forever and a day before you see credits which to me….is too long. It seems to add more value to the surf session when you see more credits surfing fewer pages , sort of a incentive to keep going.
I’m still new to the site but I’m impressed with what I have seen so far, keep up the good work!

Hi Ray,
I like either the way you offer 7 credits or surfing longer for 15 credits. On sites that offer only 3 or four bonus credits, I frequently don’t click on them because of the time it takes to go to the bonus page and back to surfing (I’m on dial-up).
I like surfing S4T and try to do at least 50 to 100 pages per session.
I love the fact that you ask for our opinions and actually take them into consideration.
BTW, I posted a recommendation for Soaring4Traffic on the Power Blog. You can read it at:

Thanks for all you do for us.

Obviously, I should not write in public when I’ve been sick. (Sigh.)
In the previous comment, I confused the challenge page and going to the bonus points confirmation page with clicking on the bonus credits link. I have no idea why I typed what I did.
I was thinking of how long it takes Royal Surf to load their new quest game and how long Dragon Surf takes to load the bonus caves pages. I generally skip both of them when I’m surfing.
I much prefer a simple bonus credits link such as is found on Soaring4Traffic.
It takes practically no time to click a bonus link, even for one credit - but I still prefer 7 or 15.
I’ll slink off now and put mittens on my fingers until I’m fit for typing in public, again!
I now return you to the other S4T members…

Lol John, funny thing is when I read your first post it made total sense so maybe the mittens were on my brain. Not unusual here…lol
Anyway, thanks to all of you that posted, have added 50 credits to each of your accounts.
Would certainly like to have more opinions posted to get a better concensus?
