Yes, Soaring4Traffic quietly without fanfare or parties surpassed the 6,000 member mark yesterday.

You, the members are the reason for the success and continued growth. Only wish I knew how to put it in words that would show how much the Soaring4Traffic members are appreciated. Frankly there might not be words in the English language to really express my feelings of gratitude for each and every member. Thank you ALL so very much!

There are a couple of ways that I can give back. We will call this member appreciation week for lack of a much better term.

Let’s begin with an 8 second timer for all members. Increased surf ratios on all levels. Bonus credits more often, and then lets throw in a referral contest for appreciation week. Bonus credits, surf ratio, and 8 second timer have already been implemented. Referral contest starts at midnight today, Feb 28th, 2008, and ends March 5th at midnight.

The referral contest winner will be awarded with 10,000 credits, second place 5,000 credits, 3rd place 3,000 credits, 4th, 5th, and 6th place 2,000 credits each. Total of 24,000 credits! But we’re not done yet. Commissions will be raised to 50% for all levels on upgrades.

New advertising option has been added to Soaring4Traffic.

Start page mod, also referred to as site of the week. It allows you to have your site shown to every member that logs in to surf for an entire week. Each member that logs in to surf will see your site first!

Personally have used this for advertising on other traffic exchanges and it has always proved to be quite effective. Not just another site in rotation but when a member is fresh just beginning his/her surf session the first site they will view.

Introductory offer for site of the week is currently set at $19.95. Find the details on your buy credits page if interested. You will also be able to keep track of your stats for the week.

This weeks winners in the surf “600 in a week” drawing. Dawn Morgan, Gary Canada, and Sunny Suggs. Congratulations to each of you, 200 credits have been added to your account.

Seems the majority have spoken and like the 10 credit bonuses? As activity continues to increase, inventory will allow us to offer those more often. Currently you are guaranteed 10 bonus credits after surfing 30-35 sites. What does that mean? Surf 100 sites a day and grab at least 30 bonus credits, plus have your chance in the drawing for a possible 500 extra credits next Sunday.

That of course doesn’t include the word game and the surf verification questions for even more credits.

As promised in the last post, have done some major adjustments to the traffic exchange downline builder for Soaring4Traffic. Yes, it took a tad longer than expected.

With the major changes, of course it also affects your surf center console.

Our first step was to remove several traffic exchanges that were no longer performing, for various reasons. Since many look upon this as my personal recommendations, in good conscious, I could no longer leave them in our system. Strange how things can turn in less than a year?

Now should you still wish to use them on your surf console, it is simply a matter of adding them to your own programs.

The good news is that we also added exchanges that are performing well. Traffic exchanges that are growing, delivering traffic, with good owners and bright futures. The end result is 63 traffic exchanges in your downline builder.

Why so many? Let me try to explain this for new members and perhaps those that missed it the first few times.

You see, Soaring4Traffic has a unique surf center console. A tool that when used properly can assist you in managing and controlling your surf stats to keep a steady flow of traffic to your sites 24/7. Yes the traffic exchange list is a downline builder but more important it also creates your surf console.

For those that have either not used it or perhaps not aware, these are the easy steps to follow.

Step 1: Login to your account. On your main member page, find the Traffic Exchanges link in your left menu. Click it and be taken to the traffic exchange downline builder. Instructions are also on that page for setup.

Step 2: Enter your referral ID’s in each exchange you are currently a member. Toggle the priority box to yes for your favorites to surf. Exchanges are not listed in alphabetical order nor in order of best performers, just randomly listed in order they were entered or script placed them. I have no idea how to resort them. Just keep scrolling down, entering your id’s til you reach the bottom. Leave blank all you are not a member of, or cannot remember your referral ID. You can go back later to make additions or adjustments.

Step 3: When you completed your entries, scroll to the bottom, find and click the Update button. That’s it, not only have you set up your downline builder for your referrals to follow, but also created your personal surf console at the same time.

Step 4: Scroll back to the top, find in your left menu the Surf Center link. You’ve just found your surf console. Only the traffic exchanges you entered your ID will be listed.

On that page is further instructions. You will also find the link to add other exchanges to create another surf console page for exchanges not listed in your downline builder.

As I’ve stated before, there are right now 63 exchanges in your downline builder. If you are new to traffic exchanges or have limited time to surf, it would be foolish to join all of them. Only join as many as you can handle effectively before adding more. With the help of the surf console, you can manage them effectively by knowing exactly when you surfed last.

This console also eliminates the need for creating multiple bookmarks, folders and access files you would normally need otherwise. The system has also been responsible for creating referrals for other exchanges for members that use it properly.

Why not let your subscribers know about this unique system. To my knowledge there is no system so easy to set up and use with such control and management for surfing traffic exchanges.

All of the exchanges listed do deliver and are effective for me. Should they fail in the future, chances are they will be deleted.

Be sure to login immediately, enter your id’s in the newly added exchanges and check that all your referral id’s are correct. Then just start using the surf console exclusively for your surfing management. You won’t be sorry. Think of it this way, one single url to direct you to all your traffic exchange surfing.

There are approx 50 exchanges listed as of now you can rank. Rank each one you are a member of from 1-10, 10 being highest, 1 lowest.

This subject has been brought up a lot lately with so many new members joining Soaring4Traffic. Members want to know how to get some of those referrals for themselves. By the way 5800 members as of today.

On another note, Soaring4Traffic made Jon Olson’s top ten list today in Hit Exchange News. In that issue Jon talks specifically about ranking traffic exchanges.

Sorry, back to the subject for today.

You see building downlines in traffic exchanges is a great way to add to your own traffic as you not only get a bonus for referring others, you also recieve a percentage of their surfing activity. Plus should they decide to upgrade or make a purchase, it could also mean cash commissions.

Never is there such a thing as too much traffic. Even if you have the greatest website in the world, best ad copy, most appealing product, without traffic no one will see it. Building traffic in various traffic exchanges can and is one of the easiest ways for newcomers and experienced marketers alike.

Of course one of the best ways to do this is having your own list of subscribers and making your recommendations. Another way is to build your own page to include your recommended programs and show it in all the exchanges you are a member of. Multiple purpose, brands you, builds your list, and refers others for more traffic.

Okay, so you don’t have a list yet, and or the capability to build your own splash pages? Every traffic exchange provides the tools to refer others. Splash pages, banners, text ads, suggested emails, peelaway ads, etc. See examples on your Soaring4Traffic “Promote” link on your main member page.

Other methods include downline builder programs, most provided free of charge. When promoting these downline builders, you are promoting several different exchanges with one link. Most traffic exchanges also include a downline builder of recommended programs, however it is my belief that these do not do the best job at building referrals in other exchanges. Yes they do work, but not as effectively as programs designed specifically for that purpose.

Now the question is, of the above suggestions, which programs actually do the best overall job when it comes to referring others to traffic exchanges. Everyone will differ in their opinions. I can only relate to you which ones are responsible for referring the most members to Soaring4Traffic.

Today I’ve added two programs to the Soaring4Traffic downline builder that have played a huge part in new memberships to Soaring4Traffic. The Free Click Thru Club and Traffic Tornado. How about that, downline builders in your downline builder, double whammy! If already a member, be sure to enter your referral ID’s and save. If not a member and you want to get the details, check them both out. Both are free programs with no upgrade level or hidden cost.

Now if you’re new to traffic exchanges, I certainly don’t suggest you start joining all the programs in those downline builders. Start off slow, maybe 4 or 5, build on those before you start adding more.

Other programs that have contributed heavily to new members for Soaring4Traffic are already in your downline builder. The top performers have been PageSwirl, Affiliate Funnel, and Leisure Audio Books. Though none of these programs are built as traffic exchange downline builders, because of their popularity and the fact they include traffic exchange lists they have been very very effective.

The more popular a traffic exchange becomes the easier it is for you to refer others. Speaking of which, Affiliate Funnel now has a surfers traffic ranking system, whereby you can rank each exchange listed.

In other words, you make the choices instead of depending on others, thousands of members are entering their preferences. Why not do your own ranking at Surfers Choice. Here’s hoping you like Soaring4Traffic and give us a decent ranking, but the main thing is be honest in your rankings or the rankings become worthless. 10 is best, 1 is lowest.

So what to do? Well first thing is login, update your downline builder right away. Make your choices, use the promote link to choose your preferred method of promoting S4T, also see the personalized splash pages, very effective. Start promoting! It’s really that simple, yet takes patience and effort on your part.

Heads up for tomorrow! The Traffic Exchange downline builder needs updating. Some non performers will be removed, some more effective traffic exchanges will be added. Notification will be posted here when finished, hopefully tomorrow.

Would also like to see more opinions posted on the previous blog post below concerning the method of distributing bonus credits. Please, if you have an opinion post it. You the members drive this bus, but I need to know what you prefer.

Many new members lately and first a huge welcome to each of you. Thanks for joining the Eagles, hope you enjoy your membership and get the results you desire.

The last few days have been spent updating, working out details on some issues, and even moving my office for more comfort and accessibility. Well the office move put me way behind on a few things only because of the need to rewire all the equipment. Of course Murphy’s law showed its ugly head with some testing of my patience when things didn’t go perfectly. No worries, all cool now.

Of course with that down time, I didn’t get the chance to let you know about S.W.A.T. traffic in time. Chances are you did get notification that the upgrade prices were being raised from several different sources. If not, then I do apologize. Even with the higher upgrade pricing, it is still one of the best deals for traffic exchanges.

With the Captain upgrade not only do you get monthly bonuses, better surf ratios, etc but also the advantage of weekly online conferences every Thursday night. Good place to meet other traffic exchange owners and surfers alike. Great place to ask questions and get real answers immediately. It is and has been in your Soaring4Traffic traffic exchange downline builder, so you might want to check it out even though you may have missed the earlier upgrade prices.

Have also been busy with the Affiliate Funnel promotion which has been going very well for all. Great chance to get some free trial period upgrades to test some of the traffic exchanges you would like to join. Think there is around 20 offering the free one month trial upgrades. Also a place to vote for your preferred exchanges by ranking each. See previous post for all the details.

Now to the main purpose of this post.

After talking online with several Soaring4Traffic members, we are going to step up and do something a bit different. Seems the general consensus was that most preferred bonus credits in larger portions rather than small amounts more often. So we are now testing that theory.

Already in place now, when you surf between 45-50 sites, you will see a bonus credit link for 15 credits. Rather than having to stop, click the bonus link every 10-20 sites for 3 to 7 credits, you will now only see the bonus link every 45-50 sites and be guaranteed the 15 credits if you click the link. In essence less time clicking for bonuses, but receiving more for your efforts. More sites viewed in your alloted surf session without being delayed by the bonus link. Watch for it, don’t miss it.

We will test this for a few days, before deciding if it should remain in place. But, let’s not forget why we surf traffic exchanges. We surf to build credits so other members will see our sites, we surf to view other members sites, we surf to find programs, tools, resources we want to add to our business or we subscribe to newsletters and training courses that will improve our knowledge and skills.

Most of you know how I feel about surfing contests and traffic exchanges that put all their emphasis on just surfing. My opinion is and has always been that the hyped up surfing frenzy is not the best course of action. Personally, I’m still not completely sold on the effectiveness of team surfing either. Sure, exchanges like Traffic Era are exciting with the team competition and the ability to chat with your team members, but still I have to ask how effective is the traffic?

To date, I’ve been a tad disappointed with the results from such a large membership already, but hopefully that will change when the newness of surfing for clocks has settled some. We have experienced some results and it does seem to be improving. Only time will determine the true effectiveness, which is what we should be looking for, results.

With all that said, surfing activity is the one thing that every traffic exchange needs to remain a viable advertising source. I do believe in rewarding and giving as many bonus credits as possible to those members viewing pages. But my hope is that you are actually looking at the pages, getting ideas, learning from others while getting results from your efforts.

With the current test run on bonus credits, don’t forget that there is also the letter hunt game which rewards even more credits automatically, plus the surf verification questions which add a few more. Adding even more, starting today we will draw 3 winners each week that have surfed a minimum of 600 sites for the week and award each with an additional 200 credits. Not a contest, simply a drawing from those that meet the minimum requirement. 600 sites in a week is nothing for a surfer that truly wants good exposure. Drawing will be held each Sunday night around midnight, EST.

On another note, lately I’ve been asked many times how and where do new Soaring4Traffic members come from. That will be covered in my next post, likely done tomorrow. There will be new programs added to Soaring4Traffic’s downline builder to coincide with that post. You will understand better when you see it.

Would be a good idea to subscribe to this blog to get the quickest updates. Several planned in the very near future that you will not want to miss.

In closing, I would really like your opinions on the new surfing bonuses. Taking time out of your busy schedule to give your honest opinion will reap more bonus credits, 50 to be exact. Yes, today is my birthday. Of course at my age, celebrating birthdays stopped a long time ago.

There is no reason why you shouldn’t benefit however. In order to share my birthday with all members of Soaring4Traffic there will be some special benefits starting now and running through Sunday night.
