Just a little update of the previous post. You might need to read it to fully understand this post.

We still have some spots left for the “Team” (007 Soaring4Traffic). Have sent approximately 10 invitations on the site as of right now, but not sure everything is working as projected.

Kinda hard to find your way around there until you become accustomed.

Trafficera did have one phase delayed today until tomorrow due to technical issues. Pretty sure they will get this worked out soon. Must be a huge site to get just right, especially with all the people joining, setting up profiles, starting teams, groups etc. Murphy’s law

Launch preparation tips for Trafficera!

We are scheduled to have access to enter our web sites on the 24th at noon Pacific Standard Time. As free members you are only allowed 3 sites, no rotators, so choose wisely and or build a new page just for Trafficera. When a site of this magnitude launches and for the first week or so activity will be enormous.

Great time to brand yourself, build your list, or downline whatever you do.

If you wish to build your downline in Soaring4Traffic this would be a great time. So in preparation, you will find a new splash page (#4) designed for use on Trafficera only. Look on your promote page to see what I mean. Don’t use this in other places. This page like the others will include your name and referral link.

Here is my offer. Each time I see your page advertising Soaring4Traffic starting on the 27th at 3 P.M. PST (scheduled time for surfing) 10 credits will be added to your Soaring4Traffic account. Whether you use splash page #4, one of the others, or one you create yourself, still qualifies. This will continue for at least a week. I’m prepared to give thousands of credits away.

Another tip. Not sure of the start date, but Trafficera will be giving credits each time you get a unique hit to one of their splash pages. So again to prepare, build your Soaring4Traffic credits, be ready. To help you do that other than the above, surf bonuses are increased now and will bounce up and down, depending on activity through Monday the 28th.

Now for a really Soaring idea, surf Soaring4Traffic as much as possible til Sunday when Trafficera is scheduled to open for surfing. Then surf both Soaring4Traffic and Trafficera in separate tabs to maximize your bonus credits on both.

Advertise Soaring4Traffic on Trafficera and Trafficera on Soaring4Traffic. Don’t just surf, look at the pages. Kinda like a box of chocolates, never know what you might find.

Well how can you ignore this new program being launched by Logiscape? Also owners of TS25, Traffic Pods, and HitPulse. Big bucks to work with and they spare no expense.

Don’t know about you but maybe over 100 emails already received and some of the top marketers yet to be heard from. Really had to think about this, wasn’t sure I wanted to join at first. Looks like a lot of time will be needed, especially in the beginning.

They are releasing this in phases, you can’t upgrade til later today the 22nd at 3 P.M. Not allowed to enter websites until the 24th and can’t start surfing til the 27th. Weird how they are doing this but apparently well planned for a reason?

What you can do right now is join, concentrate on referring others and building a team. Also setting up your profile, blog, yes I said a blog post. So much promised in the initial offering it’s mind boggling.

Just received an email that states a new member is signing up every 25 seconds, with over 400 discussions going on within 250 groups. Not positive how this program will play out, since all the details are not revealed yet, but just from all the excitement you would think it’s worth joining just to have your sites seen by thousands in the initial launch alone.

There is so much talk about forming teams which apparently will be an advantage for the team structure that I felt maybe we should form a Soaring Eagles team.

Welcome to all new members! Surf ratios have been increased today.

If you missed our last blog post and feel knowing the basics of how a traffic exchange works would benefit you, I sincerely invite you to read it soon.

Our intention is to provide posts to this blog that as members you can send to your referrals. Should you get questions relating to particular subjects, review the previous blog posts to see if they might explain something that would help your downline members better understand how to use the Soaring4Traffic service. Should be much easier than trying to explain in a long detailed email.

More posts will be made in the near future moving from the basics up the scale to how, what, where, and when to get the best results from traffic exchange advertising. If there is a subject you feel needs to be addressed, please leave your questions or comments below. This way we can write about subjects most important to you.

Next step up from basics is provided in your members area. Learning how to setup your sites, text links, banners, assigning credits, etc. Getting familiar with site navigation and all that it provides, including the surf center. Those tutorials are in video format, links on your main member page. Each video is short, sweet, and straight to the point. Please review those when time permits.

As mentioned above, surf ratios have been increased as of minutes ago. These ratios will continue through the weekend provided the awesome activity we’ve had this past week continues and so far today, looks like it will. Also watch for surf bonuses to change periodically each day. When activity increases, everyone benefits.

On another note, we’ve added more options for credit purchases and also more options to upgrade if needed. Let me know what you think.

Okay, for some this might seem redundant and unnecessary. However you must remember that not all are familiar with or even know what a traffic exchange is. First time I joined one, I didn’t know what it was or how to use it either. So please bear with me here.

Basic description: A traffic exchange is a membership site where all members agree to view each others sites. In return for viewing others sites, your sites will also be seen by other members. Hence the word exchange.

Now without getting into all the detail most are free to join, some require payment to join. Even free traffic exchanges have upgraded options for more benefits, i.e. higher surf ratios, credits bonuses, higher commissions, referral bonuses etc.

But I digress, that is too much info too quickly. Lets stick with the basics.

You join a traffic exchange, confirm your membership, add your website in the appropriate place, confirm you’ve entered it correctly and made sure it meets the terms of use.

Not all exchanges are the same but basics are. My suggestion would be to familiarize yourself with first the terms of service, the frequently asked question section and if tutorial videos are supplied, view them.

After those steps, be sure your site is entered correctly, verified, and taken off hold, i.e. ready for rotation.

Next step would be to begin your surfing. Find the surf link after logging in, click it. Many exchanges have images you will need to match to view the next page. Click the appropriate image to move forward to the next site.

Now you have begun your advertising by creating credits for each site you view. Most exchanges require a minimum amount of surfing to activate your account. Soaring4Traffic requires 5 sites only to activate.

For each site viewed, you accumulate credits. The more you view the more credits you gain. Each credit is normally worth one view of your site by others. Ratios vary of how many credits you receive for each site viewed by you.

In other words, joining a traffic exchange, entering your site only will not get your site seen. Some effort is required on your part. Credits are needed for your site to be seen.

Credits are most economically received by surfing the exchange, viewing other members sites. That’s the beauty of a traffic exchange, your site will be seen at no cost but time on your part spent surfing. Simple math, surf more to have your site seen more!

Of course you can also purchase credits for more exposure, upgrade for more benefits, but that is a choice only you can make.

My whole point is that you first understand what a traffic exchange is. Hopefully understanding the basics will then allow you to familiarize yourself with how each individual exchange operates and how the service best benefits you.

Much more to learn after understanding the basics to achieve results but that’s for more intense discussions. Know and understand the basics first!

Please, never feel embarrassed to ask questions if you don’t fully understand. You are not alone, everyone that uses traffic exchanges started somewhere without knowing the first thing about them.

If memory serves me right, think the first exchange was created approximately 10 years ago, so as an industry still very young. Way before my online experience began…lol

Traffic exchanges are one of the best ways to get your site, opportunity, business seen online. Direct views by others without waiting for some search engine to find you.

Okay Eagles, today lets talk about text links.

While surfing have you ever noticed the short message that says something like “Convert Credits and this Link Could be Yours”?

Wording may be different on some traffic exchanges but they all mean the same. It’s telling you that no one has any text links entered with impressions assigned. In other words there are no text links in rotation.

What an opportunity when you see this! Your first reaction should be to immediately go to your member page, click on the My Text Links menu button and either enter some text links or assign impressions to ones you already have. You just might be the only one rotating text links at that time.

Yes, it might take a few seconds to do this and it might take thousands of impressions for results, but hey, these little jewels are cheap and very easy to set up. Never under estimate the value! Conversion rates from credits to link impressions vary but most are pretty high. On Soaring4Traffic in particular, these links show up not only on the surf bar but on various other pages including the Talon newsletter which is archived.

Click thru rates on text links depend solely on your creativity with the few letters you have to create curiosity. Something simple, your name, even a bunch of symbols or letters that might make someone curious enough to click the link. You’re an advertiser, be creative!

What inspired me to write this? Well today when logging into the first four exchanges to start my surf sessions, three of them had no text links being shown, just the generic message…lol Guess what, my text links were rotating in all of them within seconds and I was the only one.

This made me very curious about results. Within the first 30 minutes, checking back on each of these exchanges and yes Soaring4Traffic was one of them, I had 11 clicks and one subscriber sign up for one of my lists. Not bad for a few seconds of work and no expense whatsoever.

Guess my whole point to this post is don’t forget about these extra cheap advertising options, you might be surprised. By the way banners fall into the same category but will have to say that most of you Eagles do a great job in keeping your banners in rotation.

So today for the first 5 members that post a comment here and promise to use them, you will get 1,000 text link impressions added to your Soaring4Traffic account.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that for the last few days we have had issues receiving and sending email.

What is Residual Traffic?

If you’re not quite sure about the term, residual traffic, let me try to explain.

Residual traffic is traffic that is generated from your original efforts in referring others to programs or systems. When traffic exchanges or other traffic generating systems offer bonus traffic or a percentage of the traffic generated by those you refer.

In other words, X refers Y. X might get an upfront bonus for referring Y, but more importantly X continues to receive traffic credits based on the activity of Y forever.

In the case of traffic exchanges like Soaring4Traffic, not only do you get a credit referral bonus but a percentage of all the credits your referral creates. Therefore, by referring others you start a chain reaction of residual traffic that will continue to grow as long as your referrals remain active. The more people you refer, the greater your residual traffic.

Traffic exchanges are the most economical and fastest means of generating residual traffic. Many traffic exchanges offer this benefit to grow memberships, award members for referring others and remaining active. Growth and activity are the lifeblood of any traffic exchange.

Now, what if you had a program that was designed to build residual traffic in several traffic exchanges at once, simply by promoting one site url? Several downline builders are designed with that purpose and only that purpose in mind. Check some of the links on the sidebar of this blog.

But wait, there’s more to the story. Traffic comes first, but then what do you do with all that traffic? Where do you send that traffic to see real benefits and ultimately online success?

Jumping back up on the soap box here. Build your subscriber list! Concentrate all your traffic to generating leads. Don’t know how many times I was told this in the beginning. Building your list is the most important thing you can do to build an online business that will ensure your long term success!

Of course you will need the right tools to accomplish this. Most importantly a quality auto responder with a professional follow up email series. Once you have that in place, aim your massive amount of traffic to a simple short splash page that includes your subscribe form.

Now what if you had one single program that not only could build residual traffic but also build your list at the same time?

Yes, there is such a program that just launched today. My friend Steve Ayling has created what I think is an awesome tool to do both by simply advertising one url. He calls it the Residual Traffic System, and the best part is the system is 100% FREE.

So this is my first pick for 2008. If you want to get serious with your online business, take the steps necessary to begin building your traffic and list at the same time. My suggestion is to do this is Steve’s Residual Traffic System.
