Before I announce this weeks winners, just wanted to thank everyone for their participation in this little contest. Might find more ways to add to this option soon.

Wanted to also Welcome all new members this week, many joining at record pace. The Talon our html newsletter has been changed to a monthly schedule instead of weekly. Using this blog for updates has proven to be much faster, plus gives you the opportunity to respond, leave your comments etc.

Since the holiday season is almost upon us, wanted to ask for your help in something where I opened my big mouth, spent lots of money and need to get out of hot water.. Short story behind this is, a dear friend and I also partner in an offline gift shop, small but does very well as a part time venture to keep us busy. At least that was the original idea. Anyway, she does really well with the shop so I opened my big mouth about adding a website and advertising online.

Wow, if you think online marketing is tough, try competing with a gift website. .. lol Anyway, talked her into a top notch first class website with all the bells and whistles, but costs were extreme. Sales to date have not been so great after online for more than a year now. Barely pays for merchant account minimum and hosting fees…lol Me and my big mouth!

Now the site has over 3,000 items for sale, huge site, updated daily with secure credit card processing etc.

Here is my offer to Soaring4Traffic members. If you create an account on the site, will plug all of you into what is called the wholesale discount, which runs somewhere in the neighborhood of 47% off regular price. Of course since this is merchandise that has to be shipped, only members that reside in the US are eligible. Shipping costs are prohibitive and ridiculous to ship outside the US. Canadian members might also take a look, shipping costs are not to bad to your location. We simply pass on the shipping costs, no additional profit there.

For members living outside the USA, you still have an opportunity to make some minor profits from this site, albeit not a lot, but we do have an affiliate program installed and pay 10% of any products sold through your affiliate link. Not a huge percentage for sure but profit margins are rather thin…lol

So point is, if ya want to get me out of hot water and maybe find some nice gifts, shipped direct to your front door, register an account and go crazy.
