The referral contest for Soaring4Traffic has come to a close, at least for this one.

All winners have been notified and $20 added to their accounts. Before giving you the winners names, would just like to thank everyone that participated. During this contest there was a total of 309 new members referred. Not all were qualified members as some have yet to complete their activation process.

On a less tasteful note, one member had his wings removed (permanently suspended) for behavior un-becoming of a Soaring Eagle. Cheating is not tolerated, is unfair to others and strictly against all rules of membership in any traffic exchange.

On the brighter side, we had 60 members that qualified for the contest. Eleven members with mutiple chances, and countless others that only needed one more active member to qualify. Now for the winners, listed in order of most active members referred.

Would just like to mention a couple of notables regarding this contest. First Ieuan Evans deserves special recognition for his efforts, even before the contest, Ieuan has done an awesome job of referring new members. Another notable and I don’t really know what to say, but Kevin Anderson who you see finished 4th in this contest passed away two days before this contest began. He never knew this contest existed. For once I am at a loss for words.

Kevin’s family and or business associates will be notified, as I have no way of knowing if they are receiving his email. His account is still active, and has other monies owed that will be paid when the family notifies me. I’m sure they have many more important things demanding their attention at this time. You do Soar with Eagles, Kevin Anderson.

Hope everyone had fun with the contest, maybe we will come up with some different ideas for the next one.
