Program Launches?
New program launches seem to be happening a lot this year. Some very interesting new scripts, programs, tools and of course the never ending new e-books, etc.
Some of these tools and scripts I’ve personally added to my business. Several I’ve purchased and honestly haven’t had the time to use yet.
No problem, have them, will get around to making use of them when the need arises.
Program launches are usually done by inviting a few of your friends, marketers that you’ve gotten to know online. Program owners want others to review their product, give their opinions, testimonials. Most of the time this is referred to as a JV team (JV=Joint Venture). As a reward for reviewing and giving their opinions, the JV team is then given prior notice when the launch will officially take place.
Doing a major launch with JV members is a huge asset. Usually each JV Partner has a list of subscribers or other resources to basically get the word out about this new program. This is a great help to the program owner since he has spent so much time and usually lots of money to create the program in preparation for launch. Of course that is if the program or service has any value?
For example, Soaring4Traffic had a small launch team, approx 17 members that were responsible for referring about 500 members in the first 2 days after launch. This was a great boost enabling the Eagles to begin soaring quickly. We are still very grateful for their help. Since that time, our awesome members have taken the lead, continually referring more members each day to maintain the growth which is so important for an effective traffic exchange.
That was really just a personal experience to show the impact that a well planned launch can have, just think we did a small launch with only 17 people.
Now when you ask people you know to help you launch your program and hopefully you picked people you’ve gotten to know and trust, you feel obligated when they create a product for launch. Thankfully, I’ve made some good friends and should they ask for help, feel very comfortable whatever they’ve created will have real value. But, I will still test first!
But what if, in your opinion, the product was worthless, had no real value? Would you still promote something you didn’t believe in or use? Would you make statements, testimonials, write letters promoting something falsely, just to make money? What would that do to your reputation the next time you recommended something?
I’m sure many online business owners have been confronted with this very situation. I haven’t yet, not that well known.
Have seen instances where I felt the only reason “Mr. Guru” was promoting a product was to return favors and make some money in the process. To me this totally dilutes the testimonial and recommendations of these marketers. Opinions vary but that’s my personal take.
Should this problem ever present itself to me, think my approach would be a sincere personal letter to the owner declining to be involved with my specific reasons why, and maybe even suggestions for improvement if I had any. If there is one thing you can take from this article, hopefully it’s that your reputation on the Internet is very important.
Have I ever promoted affiliate programs that were duds? Yep, sorry to say I have. Especially when I first logged on to the Internet and was grasping for the get rich quick schemes. Thought I had done my home work, looked really good but didn’t know enough to investigate all the facts. Learned my lessons the hard way by ending up with an empty wallet.
Most people that have taken the time to know me realize that my interest is mainly resources, tools, scripts, products that make your online experience easier. Programs that offer real value in teaching others the correct way to progress with their online career. Programs that offer advertising with details of how best to get it done. Systems with enough detail and training that whatever your level of expertise, it’s still understandable.
Programs with a responsive owner, full support should a question arise. And of course they all have to be priced fairly and maybe include a free level of participation for those just not sure.
With all that said, my prayer is that Soaring4Traffic does provide the training and necessary tools for anyone to understand and use. Should that not be the case, please let me know.
Frankly, what prompted me to write this article is a new program launch in less than a week. One that I have known about for a few months. One that I’ve been lucky enough to have a look inside, get the details, find out how it works and why it’s needed. A program that will be widely used for years to come. Even if you think you’re not ready for it yet, there will come a time when you feel the necessity for what it can do should you continue your pursuit for online success.
Want you to understand that when you see my name on a product or service, I use it and believe in it!
Now why would I offer to look at something new? First it was created by a couple of guys I trust! One I know better than the other. Every one of his current programs I use in my business. Secondly because he and the program meet all the criteria I have explained above. Third because I think it has great value, it has the training and full support needed, which I’ve already seen.
Also know that it’s not something whipped together over night to make money, it was over 2 years in development and thousands of dollars spent.
Keep in mind, this is not an offer for anyone to start sending me the latest, greatest online money maker they have come up with. Frankly, I don’t have the time to evaluate properly, plus I would have to know you and your values first. Have enough on my plate already. Staying on top of Soaring4Traffic and making it the best it can be is my main focus. Hope that didn’t sound rude, not meant to be, just stating facts.
Wish I could let you look at it right now. Sorry, I can’t so please don’t ask. Keeping my promise not to expose until the actual launch date. Still has a couple of minor cosmetic issues to fix.
Just wanted you to know basically how a new program launch works. Also wanted you to think before leaping on any new product, no matter who’s writing the “Testimonials?” Heck, you might not even have a use for it.
My name will be attached to this one, so my reputation is on the line. Feel very confident about this program! Know it will help me be a more efficient marketer, maybe you will find some good uses for it also?
As always, your comments welcome!

Hi Ray, the above article is just so responsible and proffers the code that we should all adopt. Yes, we are faced constantly with instances
of \”Gurus\’ returning favours regardless of the quality. There are many excellent products out there, then there are those that are just re-hashed, re-worded and re-boxed with the usual glowing testimonials from the same old crew. You are the\”Proud Owner\” of Soaring4Traffic, and I\’m proud to be associated with someone with such a strong code of ethics. Looking forward to seeing the new program, and thanks for all of your help in the past.
Very best regards. Rodney

Thank you Rodney, means a lot that you feel that way!
Have always felt you’ve been a more than honorable and giving person. The main reason I like to call you friend.
Generally, I think most people on the Internet are true to themselves, and have a real interest in helping others by giving the best advice they can.
Then there are the ones that just want their name on the front page to make a quick buck..lol
Thanks for your comments.
